- Gary Nabhan

- Michael Pollan
The JohnS. and James L. Knight Professor of Journalism at UC Berkeley and director of the Knight Program in Science and Environmental Journalism. Michael Pollan has
written a number of books and articles about food and agriculture including "Omnivore's Dilemma: A Natural History of Four Meals", "Botany of Desire: A Plant's Eye View of the World" and "In Defense of Food: An Eater's Manifesto"

The Paulette Goddard Professor of Nutrition in the Department of Nutrition, Food Studies, and Public Health and Professor of Sociology at New York University. She holds a Ph.D. in molecular biology and a M.P.H. in publich health nutrition from the University of California at Berkeley. Marion Nestle has written a number of books on food and nutrition including "Food Politics: How the Food Industry Influences Nutrition and Health", "Safe Food: Bacteria, Biotechnology, and Bioterrorism" and "What to Eat". She also has a column on food and nutrition in the San Francisco Chronicle.
